PRF Treatment - treatment with your own blood

(Cleopatra Treatment)

PRF is an abbreviation for the term “Platelet-Rich Fibrin” which means “platelet-enriched fibrin”. PRF has a wide range of indications, in dermatology, cosmetics, dentistry, orthopedics and other medical branches. It is also called “Vampire Treatment”. It is used to treat various conditions and rejuvenate the skin.

I-PRF (Injectable Platelet-Rich Fibrin)

is a new method that contains platelet – rich fibrinogen intended for use in liquid form for easier injection. The patient’s blood is centrifuged in tubes without coagulant, therefore the obtained preparation is 100% natural and as such is applied to the skin. It is a revolutionary process of skin rejuvenation and regeneration using stem cells and growth factors taken from one’s own blood. Our blood contains specific growth factors, which stimulate the proliferation of fibroblasts and keratinocytes. These cells participate in the production of collagen and keratin, and play an important role in the regeneration of damaged cells and in the creation of new blood vessels, thus creating young tissue.

In addition to your blood, the treatment can be combined with various materials. such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins – this treatment is called Cleopatra treatment after Professor Cleopatra Nacopoulos who developed it.

The treatment is done once a month. After just one treatment, an improvement of up to 30% is visible. It is desirable to do three treatments at intervals of a month. After that, it is recommended to repeat the treatment once a year.

Candidates

PRF therapy is NOT used in case of platelet dysfunction, critical thrombocytopenia, hemodynamic instability, autoimmune diseases, sepsis, acute and chronic diseases, pregnancy, chronic liver disease and anticoagulant therapy, active skin infections, active acne, keloid skin scars.

PRF therapy is used for:
Preparation and intervention

PRF treatment is performed quickly and easily. Before the treatment, doctors will take 10 to 20 ml of your blood, using a standard procedure. The pain you will feel will be minimal and negligible, equal to that you feel with a classic blood draw. After that, the doctor will use a special technique, ie a high-speed centrifuge, to separate the plasma from the other components of your blood.

PRF is a relatively quick treatment. Facial cleansing and anesthesia (topical or local anesthesia) usually takes 15 to 45 minutes, while the procedure itself takes only 20 to 30 minutes. The preparation of your blood obtained in this way with small and gentle stings with small needles is applied to the skin. > During treatment, some people have microbleeds, but this is normal and you do not need to worry.

Recovery

After the procedure, redness, swelling, minimal discomfort of the treated area, bruising, dryness and flaking of the skin may occur

Most patients return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment.

Don’t expect a miracle to be seen in the mirror in the morning after a treatment. After all, collagen doesn’t grow overnight. The first results are visible after a couple of weeks in terms of moisture, structure and skin tone. The real results are visible only after a few months, while the full effect is expected for up to two years. After the age of 20, collagen production decreases annually by 1%. Without enough collagen, the skin begins to lose shape and wrinkles begin to appear. Collagen is lost faster due to injuries, such as acne scars, stretch marks or other scars. During this period, after the treatment, the skin is revitalized, becomes softer, more elastic and visibly rejuvenated. Over time, wrinkles become less noticeable, scars and stretch marks slowly fade, and the skin looks brighter and tighter. It is important to understand that it can take several months for a person to see all the results of the procedure.

Precautions
